Most prop firm robots are tuned to look good on a historical curve. A challenge is not won by a curve. It is won by never touching the daily loss limit while the target arrives. That constraint is where our Expert Advisors start.

The method

Every rule is a
hard constraint

A prop firm challenge is a set of limits with a target attached. Here is what each limit means for the way the EA is allowed to trade.

Daily loss limit
The single most common reason a challenge dies. Risk per position is fixed and small, and exposure is capped so that a bad sequence inside one session cannot reach the limit. The EA does not increase size to recover a loss.
Maximum drawdown
Measured against your starting balance or your peak, depending on the firm. The EA tracks account equity continuously and reports balance, equity and open positions back to your dashboard, so the distance to the limit is visible instead of assumed.
Expert Advisors policy
FTMO permits Expert Advisors. What is not permitted is high frequency behaviour, latency arbitrage and tick scalping. Our EA holds positions across hours and days, so it operates well away from those categories. Read your firm's terms before you start: the rules are theirs, not ours.
Spread and execution
Prop accounts carry wider spreads than a retail demo, and a filter written in fixed points behaves differently on gold than on an index. Our spread gate is relative to current volatility, so it adapts to the instrument instead of being tuned to one of them.
Account credentials
We never ask for your trading password. On the setup call you type it in yourself, and MetaTrader masks the field, so it is not readable on screen or in a recording. We do not request, receive or store your credentials at any point. The EA then runs locally on your own terminal. The investor password is a separate read only credential, used only so the dashboard can display your account, and it cannot place an order.
We do not publish a monthly return figure or a pass percentage on this page. Any number of that kind depends on the account size, the phase, the firm and the period, and a figure without those conditions attached tells you nothing you can use. What we can show you is the method, and inside the dashboard, your own account in real time.

Setup on a private call

You bring an active FTMO challenge on MetaTrader 5. We install and configure the EA together on a Zoom call, usually inside fifteen minutes.

After the challenge

The funded account is
the harder part

Passing is a sprint against a deadline. Keeping a funded account is a different job, and it is the one that pays.

Does FTMO allow Expert Advisors?

Yes. FTMO permits Expert Advisors on challenge and funded accounts. It prohibits specific categories such as high frequency trading, latency arbitrage and tick scalping. Terms change, so read the current rules on FTMO's own site before you start. TierAlba is an independent provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with FTMO.

Does it work with other prop firms?

Yes. The EA runs on MetaTrader 5, so it works with any prop firm on that platform, including Blueberry Funded, AquaFunded, Bullwaves Prime, The5%ers and FundedNext. Each firm writes its own rules on drawdown calculation, news windows and automation, and those rules are what determine the configuration.

What if the challenge does not pass?

Trading carries risk and no Expert Advisor can guarantee a result. A refund is available under the conditions set out in our refund policy. Read it before you buy, so you know exactly what applies.

Do you need my account password?

No, never. On the setup call you type it in yourself and MetaTrader hides what you type, so it is never readable by anyone watching. We do not request, receive or store trading credentials under any circumstances. The Expert Advisor runs locally on your own MetaTrader terminal: your account, your control. The investor password is a separate read only credential, used only so the dashboard can display your account, and it cannot place trades.

Which EA will I run, and on what?

Three Expert Advisors are available and we install all of them, so you are not locked into one market. Tier Algo Institutional on gold is the default choice and the one we recommend for a challenge, Tier Algo Sniper is a lower frequency system on the same instrument, and Tier Algo US100 covers the Nasdaq index. All of them hold positions across hours and days rather than seconds, which is what keeps them outside the automation categories prop firms restrict.
