Questions about prop firms and EAs.
Which prop firms allow third-party EAs?
As of 1 November 2026, 41 of the prop firms we checked allow third-party Expert Advisors, among them FTMO, E8 Markets, BrightFunded, Alpha Capital, FXIFY, Funded Trading Plus and Blue Guardian. FundedNext allows them with limits. FundingPips, The5ers, Goat Funded Trader, Maven and others do not.
Can I use Tier Aurora on FundedNext?
Only within FundedNext's limits: on MetaTrader 5 accounts below $50,000 with the paid EA add-on, never on cTrader. FundedNext also bans EAs built only to pass challenges and identical trades across accounts.
Can I use Tier Aurora on The5ers or FundingPips?
No. The5ers requires traders to own the source code of their EA, and FundingPips allows a third-party EA only as a trade or risk manager.
Can I use Tier Aurora with FTMO on cTrader?
Run it on MetaTrader 5 at FTMO. We list FTMO on MT5 only until FTMO's position on third-party cBots is confirmed.
